As described below, using the software also operates as your consent to the transmission of certain computer information during activation and validation.

1. OVERVIEW. The software includes desktop operating system software. This software does not include Windows Live services, which are available separately.
License Model. The software is licensed on a per copy per computer basis. A computer is a physical hardware system with an internal storage device.
2. INSTALLATION AND USE RIGHTS. You may install one copy of the software on one computer. That computer is the licensed computer.
You may not install the software on a device you do not own, nor make it available to others over a network except as expressly permitted.
3. ADDITIONAL LICENSING REQUIREMENTS. The rights described here apply only where local law permits, and are limited by the terms of this agreement.
