DrillBit helps instructors set up classes, create assignments, and check student submissions for originality. This guide walks you through accessing your new instructor account for the first time.

Visit drillbitplagiarism.com, click GET STARTED, select Institutional Login, then enter your credentials and sign in.

After signing in you'll land on the Instructor Dashboard — Classes, Assignments, Students and Submissions counts, plus Top Students and Recent Submissions panels. Update your password from the profile menu.

Getting Started with Your DrillBit Account

Once your license is active, DrillBit will send a welcome email containing everything you need to sign in. Follow the steps below to complete your first login and make the account your own.

  1. Check Your Inbox: Once your license is created, look for a welcome email from DrillBit. This email contains your login credentials and a direct link to the DrillBit application for easy access.
  2. Find Your Login Details: The email will provide your username, password, and a convenient link to sign in to DrillBit. Your username may be the same as your email address.
  3. Log In: Enter the username and password from the welcome email.
  4. Update Your Password: For security, update your password after your first login. Ensure your new password meets these criteria:
    • At least 8 characters long
    • At least 1 uppercase and lowercase
    • At least 1 number
    • At least 1 special character
  5. Bookmark the Login Page: Bookmark the DrillBit sign-in page for quicker access in the future.
