Connect DrillBit Plagiarism with Moodle. Choose between the dedicated DrillBit Plug-In or the LTI 1.3 connector and follow the relevant guides below.
Moodle Plugin guides
Step 1 — Install the DrillBit plugin in Moodle
As a Moodle admin, install the DrillBit plagiarism plugin from the Moodle plugin directory under Site administration › Plugins › Install plugins, then run the database upgrade to finish the installation
Step 2 — Configure DrillBit credentials
From the DrillBit plagiarism plugin page, enable DrillBit for Assignments / Forum / Quiz / Workshop, paste the DrillBit email, password and API key, then run Test DrillBit connection to confirm
Moodle LTI External Tool guides
Step 1 — Register the External Tool in Moodle
As a Moodle admin, go to Site Administration › Plugins › External Tool › Manage Tools, configure a tool manually with LTI 1.3, the DrillBit URLs and the required services, then save and copy the Platform / Client / Deployment IDs from the tool’s configuration details
Step 2 — Connect Moodle to DrillBit
Log in to DrillBit Extreme, switch to the Admin role, open Integrations › Moodle LTI Integration (v1.3) and paste the Platform URL, Client ID and auth / access / keyset endpoints from Moodle’s Tool configuration details
Step 3 — Add the External Tool to a course
As an instructor, open the course, turn on Edit mode, add an activity, choose External tool with the preconfigured DrillBit tool, fill in the Create Assignment deep-linking dialog, then open the activity once so DrillBit creates the matching assignment
