File management User
The File Management Overview provides a complete breakdown of every column and action available for your uploaded files — from basic details like Title and Page Count to deep analysis results including Similarity, AI, and Grammar scores. Each row in My Files gives you quick access to reports, downloads, and bulk operations.
Row overview
Checkbox & bulk delete
A checkbox is available next to each file — select one or more files to enable the bulk delete option, which removes multiple documents at once.
Title & page count
The Title column displays the name you entered during upload. Page Count shows the total number of pages of the uploaded document and reflects how many pages were consumed from your balance.
More info (⋯)
The three-dot More Info icon reveals additional details such as file size, upload time, and analysis status. It also provides quick access to rename, re-analyze, or archive the file.
Download
Use the Download option to save a copy of the analysis report locally as a PDF, which includes the full similarity breakdown, matched sources, and metadata.
Delete
Clicking Delete on a single row prompts a confirmation dialog. Once confirmed, the file and its associated report are removed permanently from your account.
Date & time
The Upload Date & Time column displays when the document was submitted. This helps you track submissions chronologically and identify the most recent analyses at a glance.
Similarity % & analysis report
Clicking the Similarity % value opens the full Analysis Report, where the document is rendered with colour-coded highlights and a navigable sidebar of matched sources.
Analysis page features
- Text highlighting: Every matched sentence is highlighted in a colour that corresponds to a source listed in the sidebar.
- Source list: A numbered list of all matched sources with similarity percentages and links to originals.
- Filter: Filter matches by type — Internet, Journals, or Student Papers.
- Search within document: Jump to specific phrases or page numbers.
- Pagination: Navigate page-by-page through the analysed document.
- Download full report: Export the complete PDF including cover page, summary, and source list.
Similarity score ranges
- 0% – 10% (Green): Low similarity — minimal or no matches detected.
- 11% – 40% (Yellow): Moderate similarity — review highlighted passages and citations.
- 41% – 100% (Red): High similarity — substantial overlap; investigate all matched sources.
Exclude / include sources
Within the analysis page, you can exclude a source from the similarity calculation — useful for removing false positives or self-citations. The similarity percentage recalculates instantly. You can include a previously excluded source at any time to restore it.
Matched sources navigation
Clicking any source in the sidebar jumps the viewer to the first matching passage in your document. Use the arrow controls to cycle through all highlighted matches for that source one at a time.
Page view
Switch between continuous scroll and page-by-page view. Page view is useful for reviewing long theses or reports where you want to focus on one page at a time.
AI & grammar score access
From within the Similarity report, tabs at the top allow you to jump straight into the AI score and Grammar views without returning to My Files.
AI %
The AI % indicates the estimated proportion of AI-generated content detected in your document. Clicking the value opens the AI report, which highlights sentences flagged as likely AI output and provides a confidence score per passage.
Grammar %
The Grammar % column shows the number of language issues detected. Clicking the score opens the Grammar report.
Grammar report metrics
- Spelling: Misspelled words flagged with suggested corrections.
- Grammar: Subject-verb agreement, tense, and syntax errors.
- Punctuation: Missing or misplaced commas, periods, apostrophes.
- Duplicate Sub-strings: Repeated phrases or sentences within the document.
Interactive navigation
Each error category is clickable — selecting it filters the document view to show only that error type. Clicking an individual error jumps directly to its location in the text.
Duplicate sub-strings
DrillBit detects sentences or clauses that appear more than once in your document. This helps authors identify accidental repetition in long manuscripts such as dissertations.
Non-English analysis
For documents uploaded under the Non-English track (Spanish, French, Indonesian), you'll receive Plagiarism and AI reports in the same language. Grammar reports are not generated for non-English uploads.
Regional language analysis
Regional language uploads (Indian languages) receive a Plagiarism report only. The analysis page still supports text highlighting, matched source navigation, and source exclusion — but AI and Grammar tabs are hidden for these files.
