Submitting an assignment Student

Clicking the Submit button on an assignment opens the Submission Details interface, where you can upload your file and respond to any instructor questions. This guide covers both tabs and both language tracks.

Submission Details Interface

At the top of the interface you'll see the Class Name, Assignment Name, Instructor Name, and Date. The assignment status is also displayed as either Active or Inactive.

Download submission list: Click the Download CSV icon to export a CSV file containing Class Name, Assignment Name, Email, Author Name, Title, Similarity, File Size (in KB), Pages, Paper ID, Submitted Date, Folder/Assignment ID, Document Type, File Name, and Language.

Two tabs are available: Submission and Q&A.

Submission Tab

In the Submission Tab, you can submit assignments in both English and non-English languages. To upload a file, click the + icon, which presents two options: English and Non-English.

Non-English Submission

  1. If you select Non-English, you'll be navigated to an interface to upload your non-English file.
  2. Click Browse your file here to select and upload your file. After uploading, Author Name and Title will be filled in automatically.
  3. Select the Language and enter the Guide Email and Guide Name for sharing the analysis page link once the report is generated.
  4. Click Submit to upload the file.

English Submission

  1. If you choose English, you'll be taken to an interface to upload your English file.
  2. Click Browse your file here to select and upload your file. Once uploaded, Author Name and Title will be automatically filled in.
  3. Entering the Guide Email and Guide Name is optional — but if provided, it allows sharing the analysis page link after the report is generated.
  4. Click Submit to complete the upload.
File upload requirements:
  • Formats: .pdf, .doc, .docx, .txt, .dotx, .dot, .pptx, .xlsx, .wpd, .rtf, .html, .odt, .ppt, .xls, .ps, .tex, .xml, .tiff
  • Document length: up to 800 pages
  • Document size: up to 100 MB

Q&A Tab

Switch to the Q&A tab to answer any questions asked by your instructor. You'll find a Click here to answer section — click it to type your answer, then click Submit Answer to send your response.
