Repository Instructor
A repository is a centralized document store that plagiarism checks compare against — think of it as a reference library built from past submissions and published work. DrillBit exposes two: your Institution repository and the Global repository.
Navigating to the Repository
After logging in, click Repository in the left sidebar. This opens the repository interface where documents can be managed and uploaded. Content is categorized into two repositories:
a. Institution Repository
Designed for content submitted within your institution or organization. It detects plagiarism by comparing new submissions against past work inside the same institution, helping ensure academic integrity among students and faculty.
b. Global Repository
A broader pool of content including published works, journal articles, newspapers, theses, research papers, and more from institutions and sources worldwide — a comprehensive baseline for external comparison.
Repository Interface
- Files uploaded by instructors appear on the repository interface for easy access and management.
- Administrators can delete files from the repository via the delete icon next to each file.
- Use the search bar to find a paper by its unique Paper ID.
