Adding Multiple Students in DrillBit allows administrators to efficiently create multiple student accounts by uploading a CSV file containing the necessary details. Follow these steps to complete the process.

Step by step

Add multiple students via CSV

Click +, choose Add Multiple Students, download the template, fill in your data, then Browse to upload. The preview window lets you edit or delete rows before Submit.

  1. Log in to your DrillBit account with Admin credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Student section on the left sidebar.
  3. Select the + icon to begin adding multiple students under the admin account.
  4. Choose ‘Add Multiple Students’ to open a window with two options:
    • ‘Download Template’ button to download the CSV file template.
    • ‘Browse your file here’ link to upload the completed CSV file.
  5. Select the ‘Download Template’ button to download the CSV file and fill in the specified fields without altering its format.
Important information: Ensure all mandatory fields are filled — Student Name*, Email*, Student ID*, Department*, and Section*. The maximum number of students that can be added at once is 100.
  1. Once the CSV file is completed, click on the ‘Browse your file here’ link to upload it. The system will validate the file and display a preview window.
  2. Review the student details: The preview window will include Student Name, Email Address, Student ID, Department, Section, and Phone Number.
    • Use the delete icon to remove individual entries if necessary.
    • Edit any field directly in the preview window to ensure accuracy.
  3. Submit the students list: After verifying the details, click Submit to finalize the addition of students.
Duplicate emails: If email addresses are repeated, the system will display: “Please remove the repeated email addresses and then proceed.”

Exceeding user limit: If more than 100 users are added, the system will display: “Your entries are more than 100, please delete the remaining.”
