Managing students Admin

Managing students in DrillBit allows you to update details, delete accounts, and view student activity. Here's how to manage students effectively.

Viewing & searching students

To manage students, log in with administrator credentials and navigate to the Student section. A list of all students is displayed along with Name, ID, Email, Department, Section, Statistics, and Actions. Use the search bar to locate a student by entering their email address.

Sorting and bulk actions

1. Sorting student information: You can sort students by Name, Email, Department, or Section. Click the arrow next to any of these fields to sort.
2. Multiple deletion: Select multiple students using checkboxes, then click the delete icon at the top to remove them simultaneously.
3. Statistics: Click the statistics icon to view submission statistics for a student. A preview displays the student's name, a download icon, submissions graphs, and a trend analysis graph.
   • The downloaded CSV includes Author Name, Title, Similarity, File Size (KB), Pages, Paper ID, Assignment/Folder Name, Submitted Date, Repository Status, Email, Folder/Assignment ID, Document Type, File Name, Language, College Name, and Status.
   • Submissions Graph — month-by-month bar graph of submissions, downloadable in SVG, PNG, or CSV.
   • Trend Analysis Graph — percentage distribution of similar work and own work, downloadable in SVG, PNG, or CSV.

Actions for managing students

Administrators can perform the following actions for managing students:

• Edit – modify student profiles, including Name, ID, Department, Section, and other information.
• Delete – remove a student from the system. This deletes the student's access and data.
